From the beginning of his professional career, Carlos Navarro has focused his practice in the field of Intellectual Property (copyrights, patents, trade marks and designs), unfair competition, advertising law and image rights. He has provided contentious and non-contentious advice, both in contract and litigation, to a large number of companies in the sectors of food, biotech, software, internet, fashion and design, broadcasting and music, as well to ad agencies, art motion, press editing and media companies.
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), University of Barcelona; Master of Laws (LL.M), University of Edinburgh; and graduated at the London School of Economics & Political Science and the City of London Polytechnic.
Former Lecturer at the International Private Department of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (1994–1996) and the Escuela Superior de Comercio Internacional de Barcelona -ESCI (1994- 2010).
He started practising in 1.992 and has developed most of his professional career as a member of the IP & IT department of the Spanish law firm CUATRECASAS (1996 – 2007).
